On Friday 13th October 2017, we are organising an educational visit for our children to ‘The Living Rainforest’ in Berkshire. It should prove to be a most interesting and exciting experience for your child and ties in with their topic on Rain Forests.
The children will travel to and from the centre by coach and as it is quite a distance away we will need the children to be in school for registration at 8.30am on the day of the trip. The children will return back to school by 3.00 pm. If your child is late then they will be unable to attend this exciting experience.
The cost of the trip will be £10.00 for each child. This will cover the cost of the entrance in to ‘The Living Rainforest’ and some towards the cost of transport. The cost of the trip has been heavily subsidised by the school.
All children will need a packed lunch and a non-fizzy drink on the day of the trip. Pupils who normally have a free school meal will have a packed lunch provided by the school. The children do not need to wear school uniform but please ensure that they do wear clothes suitable to the weather on the day i.e. wet weather gear!
