Dear Parents and Carers,
We know that the situation caused by Covid 19 has been a difficult and anxious time for many.
Now that the Government has shared their plan for some children to return to school on 1st June, we would like to share our plan of what that might look like with you. This may change over the next few days as the Government releases more information.
In line with other schools in Portsmouth, we would like to offer the following:
Provision for Key Worker children will not change.
Nursery children will be offered a place dependent on numbers. Your child’s key worker will be in touch next week.
Year R, Year 1 and Year 6 will be offered part time education. We propose that there would be a maximum of 10 children in each classroom.
RRC will be offered Mondays and Tuesdays. RBR will be offered Thursdays and Fridays.
1EW will be offered Mondays and Tuesdays.1LB will be offered Thursdays and Fridays.
6OD will be offered Mondays and Tuesdays. 6VK will be offered Thursday and Fridays.
Classrooms will have a deep clean on a Wednesday.
It is anticipated that children will have lunch in their classrooms.
Dropping and collection times will be staggered to keep you all safe.
Home Learning will continue for any children who are not attending school.
On Monday, when we have more information from the Government, we will share more details of how the school will run and keep your child safe. We will also ask you if you would like to send your children to school from the 1st June.
Our main aim is to keep the children, their families and our staff safe. Thank you for your patience at this difficult time.
