This week we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. Your challenge is to carry out a shape hunt in your home. How many isosceles triangles can you find, what are their properties? Can you spot any spheres or triangular prisms? Remember to use the correct vocabulary to describe them including vertices, edges and faces. The knowledge organiser will help you to do this that is attached to this assignment. Perhaps you can discover some new shapes that we haven't learnt about yet and find out their names!
If you need a bit more help, use the 2D and 3D word mats.
We would love to receive any pictures of your discoveries with labels about what shapes they are and their properties. Or you may prefer to draw and label what you have found! Have fun!
